Site & Facility Review

While all charter schools must undergo local and state health and safety inspections, Central Michigan University requires additional reviews to make certain that all settings are conducive to children learning. A charter public school's learning environment includes both the interior and exterior of its facility. A proactive approach has been established to set standards that assure students are learning in safe and healthy environments.

The Governor John Engler Center for Charter Schools conducts a site and facilities review of schools chartered by Central Michigan University. At the sites, staff from the Center review the condition of both the interior and exterior of the charter public school. Below is the document used to conduct the inspection.
